What types of events do you cover?
We provide professional entertainment and event production for weddings, corporate events, private parties, birthdays, festivals, University Balls, awards evenings and many other special occasions. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a large-scale event, we can tailor our services to suit your requirements.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in the West Midlands and regularly cover the Staffordshire, Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and the surrounding areas. We're also happy to travel further for the right event.
How much experience do you have?
Flux Pro Events is founded by Joe Jaxon, who has over 20 years of professional DJ experience and has worked within the events industry for more than two decades. Collectively, we've delivered thousands of successful events, averaging around three events every week for over 15 years.
Can we choose our own music?
Absolutely. Every event is tailored to your preferences. You're welcome to provide playlists, favourite artists, must-play songs and even songs you'd rather avoid. We'll work with you to create the perfect soundtrack for your event.
Do you accept song requests on the night?
Yes, where appropriate. We're always happy to take requests from guests, providing they fit the atmosphere you've asked us to create. If there are any songs or genres you'd prefer not to hear, we'll respect those too.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. We carry Public Liability Insurance and all of our electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested for safety and compliance, giving you complete peace of mind.
What equipment do you use?
We use professional-grade sound, lighting and event production equipment from trusted industry brands to ensure exceptional reliability, outstanding sound quality and a premium overall experience.
How long does setup take?
This depends on the package you've booked, but most standard setups take between 60 and 90 minutes. We'll always arrive with plenty of time to ensure everything is ready before your guests arrive.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A booking fee is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance payable closer to your event. Full payment details are provided when your booking is confirmed.
Can you provide equipment hire without a DJ?
Yes. We offer a range of dry hire options including professional PA systems, lighting packages and party equipment, available for 24-hour hire. Please see Equipment hire
Can you provide microphones for speeches?
Yes. We can supply wired or wireless microphones for speeches, presentations, ceremonies and announcements as part of many of our packages.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We pride ourselves on reliability and preparation. We carry backup equipment wherever possible and have contingency plans in place to minimise disruption, ensuring your event runs as smoothly as possible.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates, particularly Saturdays during wedding season, can book up well over a year in advance. We always recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
